I got tagged. Ok, why I travel . . . well, you know what I say all the time, "once you backpack, you never go back." But if you ask me for specific reasons, I'd have to say it comes down to two. 1) There's never a day of drudgery, and 2) whenever you have the need to be by yourself, you can literally shut the world out just pretending you don't speak the local language. I really like reason #2. The idea of leaving behind the things that weigh you down- possessions, demands on your time, and paperwork- is very attractive, even for a short while. #4 is great, too.
