A day hiking in the gorgeous surroundings of the Queenstown mountains. 1748 meters above sea level, 6.5 hours of walking and 4 blisters! It was well worth it…
Altogether I spent 5 days in late August 07 in this little village on Lembata. It is the last village on earth to still regularly catch whales by hand and I accompanied the fishermen on one of their hunts.
I took these shots around the Moni and Kelimutu area in late August 07. I found the kids really fascinating. They all loved their photo being taken and then looking at themselves through the little camera screen! And the lakes were just spectecular!!
I was just wandering through Dili one day in the middle of September. Before I had been playing with my camera settings and decided to take some black and white photos and the results you can see here!
While in Australia I bought a car with friends and we almost always took the scenic routes to get away from the boring highways. This one close to Brisbane was especially nice!
Most of these shots were taken on different stops from Sydney all the way to Brisbane. Stops included Forster, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay and Nimbin and then there's a few pics from Sydney as well.
