There’s some exciting news. At least I think so. Nobody else probably does, but whatever… I have started work on the Travel-Junkie Theme V 3.0. There’s gonna be lots of jqueryness, ajax magic, lots of gloss and overall it’ll be just fab, while still retaining most of the look and feel of version 2.5 (that’s what we’re on right now in case you didn’t know). It’ll be a long and rocky road, so you can expect the new look in about 1 months or so.
In other news… It seems that time is running out for me in New Zealand. It has started snowing occasionally, which I find quite depressing at times, so I’m thinking of packing my stuff to head for warmer climates, beaches and palm trees. If I do, then I will definitely be back next summer to do some travelling instead of just working. What do you think?

Eh, screw New Zealand. The scenery is overrated, it’s expensive, it’s way over-touristed, most of the people traveling there aren’t that cool (lots of dipshit British gap-year kids and people afraid of going to Asia), nothing of any cultural interest except a Maori carving here and there… seriously, fuck that country.

Sam, mate, there’s some serious issues you’re having here. Do you want to talk about it?

Okay, I’m exaggerating a bit but I really didn’t see why people think NZ is so great. You really think it’s all it’s cracked up to be? Frankly I thought it was one of the least interesting countries I’ve visited.

You probably think that because it’s so similar to the States, cultural wise. I mean it’s really similar to Europe as well, so yes, I find other countries, like Indo, more interesting, but on the whole it’s just what you make of it, innit? I’m having a ball and there is some stunning scenery here (obviously not as nice as in the States :)…

LOL, I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who gets excited about upgrading the website design and even keeping a version control! We rock! Seriously!
