Lamalera, A Whaling Village

Altogether I spent 5 days in this little fishing village on Lembata, east of Flores. All of the following pictures have been taken by either myself or Sam Gibbens. We did go out on a whale hunt with the villagers and some of those shots you can see here!

    Patty, no, I’ve been there a few months ago, but I did stay in Jims guesthouse when we came back from Lamalera. He told us we could take a ferry to Alor from Wairiang. That saved us having to wait 7 more days on Lembata…
