Tana Toraja
The funeral ceremonies in Tana Toraja are unique. Often the deceased wait for a year or longer until their relatives have saved up enough money to buy buffaloes and pigs to be used as sacrifices
Hi Travel Junkie
I love your pictures. And I love the easy way you show the pictures. Klick for close, arrows for next and so on. I want to use that functionality on my page. How do I do that?

Thomas, first of all thanks. I am very receptive to compliments…
That is done with a little script called highslide. You’ll find it easy enough googling for it…
Ahhh, Tana Toraja! Did you go to North Sulawesi also? Pulau Gangga near Manado in the North Eastern corner is one of my favorite island getaways. So quiet, charming and laid-back, it will hopefully never become a second Bunaken. Maybe I should stop advertising it. ;-)
Never made it north of the Togeans. Stayed on a small island there for a month and then I had to get over to KL. I’ll remember Pulau Gangga next time I’ll come to Indo (might be a couple years, though :)
