Your way sounds so much easier, but I wonder -- if we'd done it like that, what would have happened to us? I did do some drinking on the Christchurch to LA leg of the trip, though. I have met best friends from all over, and couldnt imagine how i lived my life before them, then of course, sooner or later, having to say goodbye knowing full well ill probably never see them again.
